Mamardashvili reaches 100 official games with Valencia CF

Valencia CF goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili, reached 100 official matches with Valencia CF in the match against RC Celta de Vigo.

The goalkeeper from Tbilisi joined Valencia CF in the summer of 2021 from FC Dinamo Tbilisi. His first official match with Valencia CF was on August 13, 2021 at Mestalla against Getafe CF. He participated in the final of the Copa del Rey in 2022.

Throughout this season, Mamardashvili has become the best goalkeeper in LALIGA EA Sports 23-24, the goalkeeper with the most consecutive starts in LALIGA (71) and has broken his own record for most clean sheets (13) in the domestic competition. He is also the goalkeeper, along with Unai Simón, with the most penalty saves (3) this season. He was also nominated for best U-23 player of the month for March in LALIGA EA Sports 23-24.

At national team level, he is a full international with Georgia, having competed in 16 matches and qualifying for Euro 2024. In addition, he also played 6 matches for Georgia's U-21 team.
